Featured: Dr. Yaman Walid Kassab
Assistant Prof. at National University of Science and Technology, Oman
Dr. Yaman Walid Kassab is an Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice at the College of Pharmacy, National University of Science and Technology, Oman. He holds a PhD in Clinical Pharmacy from Malaysia, where his research focused on pharmacist-led interventions in secondary prevention of coronary artery disease. Dr. Kassab has over 15 years of academic, clinical, and research experience across Oman, Malaysia, Jordan, and the UAE. He has taught extensively at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering clinical pharmacy, pharmacotherapeutics, public health, and research methodology. He has played leading roles in curriculum design, accreditation (ACPE and OAAAQA), and academic quality assurance.
He has supervised more than 70 undergraduate research projects and over 35 postgraduate research students, and successfully graduated 4 PhD students. His research contributions include over 90 peer-reviewed publications, several book chapters, and a Scopus h-index of 21. His areas of interest include cardiovascular pharmacotherapy, pharmacoeconomics, and pharmacy education.
Dr. Kassab is a certified GCP practitioner and holds qualifications in healthcare management, teaching methodology, and advanced pedagogy. He is an active member of several professional bodies, including FIP, the Oman Pharmaceutical Society, and the International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners.

Prof. Dr. Yarub Kahtan is a Fellow of European Academy of Sciences. He is Professor of nanotechnology from University of Malaya in Malaysia and winner of the prestigious Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation 2024.
